Breaking News: One person killed in wrong way driver accident in Cass County

On 9-19-2020 at approximately 11:53 PM, the Belton Police were dispatched to southbound I-49 on a report of a traffic crash involving a wrong-way driver. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The crash is being investigated by the Belton Police Department’s traffic unit. The identity of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
