Motor Vehicle accident just south of Butler on I-49

The Butler Fire Department along with Bates County EMS, Bates County Sheriff's Deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers are on scene of a multiple vehicle accident in the southbound lanes of I-49 near mile marker 131 close to Butler.

One person is said to be injured and is being checked out at this time by Bates County EMS. Please slow down and use caution if you must travel in this area.
