Nevada woman seriously injured in Vernon County rollover accident

On 9/18/20 around 2:53am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the southbound lanes of I-49 around 4 miles north of Nevada.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2002 Ford F-150 driven by 35 year old Alanda N. Monroe of Nevada, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway, driver over corrected and traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Alanda N. Monroe sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported Medflight Helicopter to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by Garwood's Wrecker Service of Nevada.
