Otis was employed with AAA Trash Service in Buckner, Mo., for several years. He was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. He was a collector of various objects, but mainly clocks. He loved dogs. Surviving are twin daughters, Felicia and Fallon Leaton, Columbia, Mo.; one brother, William Leaton, Sedan, Ks.; one sister, Sue Ogle and husband John, Blue Springs, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Helen M. Leaton; the mother of his twin daughters, Karen Harris; and his four-legged faithful companion, Baby. Memorial services will be Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., at Dickinson Park, 1700 Dickinson Road, Independence, Mo., 64050. Otis G. Leaton, 57, of Clinton, Missouri, formerly of Independence, Mo., passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, September 25, 2020 at his home. He was born October 3, 1962 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas the son of Fletcher Leaton and Betty Jean (Bond) Leaton.
