Obituary - Tonia Wright

Tonia Wright, 55, of Leeton, Missouri, died early Tuesday morning, September 22, 2020, at her home in Leeton.

She was born September 27, 1964, in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of William “Billy” Fowler and Judith Ann (Gooding) Fowler. She married Leonard Stillwell in January, 1984, and they were the parents of three children, Joshua, Jeremiah, and Jessica. She then married Timothy Lynn Wright and they were the parents of 4 children, Meaghan, Sadie, Mattie, and Duncan. Timothy preceded her in death on November 1, 2018.\

Tonia worked as a waitress for several years. She loved to color and enjoyed unicorns and fairy tales. She enjoyed old Atari video games, especially Galaga. She was an excellent cook and loved fixing her special holiday fudge and pumpkin pie for family, among many other family favorites. Caring for her children and grandchildren always came first for her. 

Survivors include 7 children, Joshua Stillwell, Warrensburg, Mo., Jeremiah Stillwell (Candace Shields Stevens), Joplin, Mo., Jessica King (Joshua), Leeton, Mo., Meaghan Wright (Blake Daugherty), Mt. Vernon, Mo., Sadie Stiers (Paul), El Dorado Spring, Mo., and Mattie Wright and Duncan Wright, both of the home; grandchildren, Emma, Lucas, Abigayle, Elleanor, Barrett, Timothy, and a granddaughter, Kimberlee to be born; a brother, Sean Tannis; 2 sisters, Mary Sue Fowler Carol Fowler; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Timothy, she was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Robert and Alan; a sister, Leslie; and a niece Casey Gale.

Private services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. A memorial has been established for funeral expenses and contributions may be left in care of the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home or given online using the link below.
