We would like to congratulate our first Butler State Farm student athlete of the week for the 2020-21 school year, Dylan Sutton a senior from Archie.
Dylan was nominated by his coach Drew Smith. In his last outing Dylan had 10 rushes for 202 yards and 5 touchdowns, one reception for 7 yards, 8 solo tackles and 1 interception for a touchdown. Dylan plays running back, wide receiver and safety for the Archie Whirlwinds.
When we asked Dylan what it takes to become an elite athlete he stated "it takes hard work and dedication and putting in an effort towards relationships with his team on and off the field to get everyone on board." Coach Smith stated "Dylan is a leader both on and off the field. He is someone people look up to and look to for guidance.
He leads by example and is not a follower." We want to wish Dylan and the Archie Whirlwinds good luck as they take on Jasper tonight for Homecoming.
