When officers arrived they were threatened by white male who was waving a knife around. After several attempts to get the subject to put down the knife, he charged at officers in a threatening manner and was shot and killed.
The male subject whose name will be released at a later time was pronounced dead at the scene. No law enforcement was injured.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Drug and Crime Control Unit are investigating..
