Obituary - Chad Allen Boswell

Chad Allen Boswell, 46, of Arma, KS, died Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Taberville, Missouri, due to a boating accident.

Funeral Services in Mexico will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, at Arnold Funeral Home with burial in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral Home.

Mr. Boswell was born February 10, 1974, in Mexico, MO, the son of Phillip Dean and Vicky (Gish) Boswell. He married Heidi Karrio on April 6, 1993, at Mt. Home, Idaho. Heidi survives at the home.

Chad was raised in Mexico, MO and graduated from Mexico High School. He loved golfing, fishing, hunting, woodworking and mechanical hobbies.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm and was a member of the Lon Helm Post #182 American Legion at Arma.

Chad was a plant operations director for the Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada, MO. He had been a resident of Arma since 2003.

Survivors include his wife Heidi; three sons, Colby (Irene) Boswell of Roeland Park, KS and Nathen and Branden Boswell, both of the home; mother and step-father, Vicky Boswell-Hoover and Robert Hoover of Mexico, MO; sister, Shana (Clint) House of Holts Summit, MO; maternal grandparents, Richard and Margaret Gish of Mexico, MO; nieces, Paislee and Paityn House; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Dean Boswell; and paternal grandparents, Charles W. and Lillian Fay Boswell.

The family suggests memorials to the Chad Boswell Memorial Education Fund for his children. Donations may be sent to Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
