Joseph James Epperson, age 81 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Medicalodge of Butler. He was born July 27, 1939 to James Olin and Effie Grace Sutton Epperson in Metea, Indiana.
Joe is survived by his wife, Kay Epperson of Butler, Missouri; one son, Joseph Lynn Epperson and wife Kay Foreman of Archie, Missouri; one daughter, Marsha Umstattd and husband Dennis of Butler, Missouri; one brother, Elmer Epperson and wife Beulah of Butler, Missouri; brother-in-law, Leroy Welch of Butler, Missouri; four grandchildren, Dan Umstattd and wife Lindsay, Annie Morgan, Luke Umstattd and Tricia Lang and husband Alex; nine great-grandchildren, Gracie, Kash, Kolby, Brody, Maci, Saywer, Wyat, Braxton and Eislyn; also cousin and relatives in Rochester, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Loretta Welch.
