Old 71 Speedway helmet pass for the family of Wayne Hunt

Wayne Hunt is a man from Butler, a 19 year janitor at the Adrian School district and he has just had his 3rd brain tumor removal in 20 months, Wayne is still hospitalized with complications of the last surgery. Old 71 Speedway was gracious enough to let me do a fundraiser for him at intermission last night!!

We passed the helmet at intermission and raised $444 in cash, as I am upstairs counting the $$, Jayme McElwain from Studio M Salon and Boutique sat down with me to and helped me count....when we finished she told me she would double the amount...just like that our $444 fundraiser went to $888.... I just want to give a HUGE shout out to Annette & Jerry Brown for allowing me the opportunity to fund raise for the family, and to Jayme McElwain for helping out so much with all this.

You really are my hero!!! The $$ raised went straight to the family to help with travel expenses to and from the hospital!! Wayne still has a very long road in front of him and his family is trying their very best to be there for him as much as Covid restrictions will allow them to be!!!

If you are interested in helping this family out there is a love fund set up at Adrian Bank.. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, God Bless you all!!!
