The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1992 Ford F-150 driven by 53 year old John D. Howell of Nevada, Missouri failed to negotiate a T Intersection and crashed.
Mr. Howell sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Medflight to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
A passenger in the vehicle 41 year old Jeremy Boyd of Nevada, Missouri sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by Southeast Auto of Nevada, Missouri.
