Update: Nevada woman injured in one vehicle accident west of Butler

On 10/20/20 around 3:28pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies, Bates County EMS and Butler Fire Department responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri 52 West Highway just east of K Highway west of Butler.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2004 Buick Century driven by 21 year old Lydia P. Harris of Ottawa, Kansas traveled off the roadway and struck a MoDot sign and ditch before coming to rest.

A passenger in the vehicle 24 year old Brittany A. Terry of Nevada, Missouri sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler for treatment.

The vehicle was towed from the scene of this accident by Don's Tow of Butler.
