El Dorado Springs man seriously injured after colliding with tractor in rural Vernon County

On 11/18/20 around 2:45pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on Route K around 1 mile south of Dedrick in rural Vernon County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Pontiac Torrent driven by 41 year old David H. Hayes of El Dorado Springs, Missouri side swiped a John Deere Tractor driven by 58 year old Janet L. Hughes of Nevada, Missouri which was partially over the center line of traffic due to width.

David H. Hayes sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by air ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.
