Henry County Announces the 9th COVID-19 Related Death

Today, the Department of Health and Senior Services informed Henry County Health Center of the death of a 68-year-old female who had previously tested positive for COVID-19.

This marks the 9th death in Henry County due to complications related to COVID-19. This Henry County patient resided in the town of Deepwater. 

“It is with a great sadness that I have to announce another COVID-19 related death in our county. 

All of the staff at Henry County Health Center would like to express our deepest sympathy for the family and loved ones of the resident who has passed, as well as the families of everyone who has been affected by this pandemic” said the Henry County Health Center Administrator, Peggy Bowles. 

“I am pleading with all residents to remain vigilant in their efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19. Please remain six feet apart, wash your hands, and wear a face covering. It is the simple things that will help reduce the spread of this disease.”
