The Montrose FFA would like to recognize three outstanding FFA members for their participation in the Area VII Fall Speaking LDE this past week. Each student wrote a 6-8 minute speech and submitted a video entry to be judged last Wednesday.Sophomore Riley Lasswell and Freshman Rilee Stinnett chose to write their speeches in the category created by the Missouri Quarter Horse Association titled "What Sparked My Interest in Horses and How They Have Impacted My Life". Sophomore Bailey Carter prepared his speech for the Missouri Cattlemen's Association and title his speech, "Getting Started in the Beef Industry".
Bailey placed 3rd with his topic making him the alternate to proceed in the Central District Speaking LDE.
