Terry Leon VanBuskirk was born on September 23, 1954 the son of Edmond Eugene and Lois Jean (Culbertson) VanBuskirk. He passed away peacefully at his home on November 4, 2020, age 66. He spent his formative years in the Montrose and Appleton City areas, where he graduated from Montrose High School in 1973.

After completing his education, Terry farmed until 1998. He then started Osage Valley Lawn Care, which he owned and operated for more than 20 years. He was a very hard worker that took care of numerous properties in the Appleton City, Rockville, and Montrose areas. He could be seen cleaning snow off sidewalks and parking lots in the midst of stormy winter nights so long as he remained able. Terry cherished being outside and enjoying nature and watching the animals roam in the areas he mowed. Apart from this, he loved his family and especially his two dogs, Gus and Tucker. Terry will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond Eugene and Lois Jean (Culbertson) VanBuskirk.

He is survived by his 3 sons: Jeremy VanBuskirk, Corey (Shelby) VanBuskirk, and Jared VanBuskirk; his two sisters: Shirley (Michael) Gwin and Linda (Steve) Saia; 1 grandson, Vincent Thomas; along with many extended family and good friends, and his two beloved pet companions Gus and Tucker.
