The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Ford driven by 28 year old Monty G. Moss of Deepwater, Missouri lost control on gravel and traveled off the roadway striking a tree.
A passenger in the vehicle 29 year old Kassandra N. Nappier of Deepwater, Missouri was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by Golden Valley Tow of Clinton, Missouri.
