Deputies Serve Narcotics Search Warrant in Cass County

This afternoon deputies with the Cass County Sheriff's Office Criminal Apprehension Unit served a search warrant at a house in the 18000 block of E. 281st Street, southwest of Harrisonville.

Deputies located 14 people inside the house at the time. 

7 people were arrested on active warrants and pending narcotics charges. 6 other people were questioned and released. One juvenile located in the residence was released to State custody.

"There is a lot of time, effort, and manpower into securing a search warrant. This investigation has a tremendous amount of work to go and our deputies will work tirelessly to ensure that anyone committing crimes will be brought to justice," said Sheriff Jeff Weber.
