Makayla Mallatt: 2-0.
Josie Johnston: 2-1.
Makayla breezed through the competition pinning the #5 and #6 state ranked girls. She pinned the returning 2020 state 6th place finisher in 24 seconds.
Josie stepped up her game tonight! She wrestled very hard in the first match, but came up short.
The next two matches she came out like tornado and pinned both opponents very quickly in 47 and 23 seconds.
With her last match she won the conference championship for her weight class!! Wow, what an amazing night!
Next up we travel to Liberty North for a meet on Friday and the Knob Noster Tournament on Saturday
