Icing will continue through the rest of the morning, then transition into snow. Road conditions are already pretty bad, but putting another couple inches of snow on top of the icy surfaces will make for very dangerous (and maybe impassible) road conditions later today.
Snow moves out from southwest to northeast by the late afternoon to mid evening hours.
