Ira was born December 2nd, 1945 in Clinton, Missouri to Harry and Violet (Estell) Fantz. Ira was in the Air Force from 1964-1968. Ira was married to Marilyn Ruth (Hass) Fantz and together raised 3 children. Ira was in sales all of his career and loved to play golf.
Ira was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Violet Fantz.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, of the home, one son Carl Fantz of Olathe, Kansas; two step daughters Patti Hunter (Rick), of Texas; Sandra Cox (Jim)of Clinton, Missouri; one brother Stephen Fantz of Clinton, Missouri; two sisters Ronda Wiley of Lincoln, Missouri, Cindy Parratt of Clinton, Missouri, 3 grandchildren Ashley Wareham, Tabbitha Colbert, Tiffinny Cox, Dustin Hunter and 9 great grandchildren.
