A fire burns inside these concrete grain bins at Adrian COOP following an explosion on December 31st that sent one worker to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. As this photo was taken, a skid loader is removing smoldering grain and loading onto a dump truck. Note that flames regularly appear just below the windows at top, signaling that the fire is much larger than can be seen from the outside. In a press release from MFA this week, special crews have been called in to work through the situation while local firefighters remain on call in the event they are needed. More details are expected to be released soon.
