He preceded her in death on March 12, 2016. Mary Jane volunteered at the La Cygne Library and Swanfest. She enjoyed playing Bunko, growing flowers, and was a member of the Over 50 Club. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jim Pittensbarger and a grandson, Matthew Richard Benjamin. Mary Jane is survived by two sons, Richard and Robert Stitt, two daughters, Wendy Stitt and Brenda Benjamin, a stepson, Danny Pemberton, five grandchildren, Emma Peterson, Rachell Benjamin, Sarah Banks, Eric Pemberton and Katie Harris, and four great grandchildren, Knox Harris, Everly Pemberton, Brody Pemberton, and Kaden Ohlert.
Graveside service will be held 3 pm Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Trading Post Cemetery. Visitation will be held form 1 to 2:30 pm at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel.
