Belton Police Department names new police chief

Belton Police Department is pleased to welcome our new Police Chief Scott Lyons to the department.

Chief Lyons comes to us from Papillion, Nebraska where he served as Chief of Police for 6 years.

Chief Lyons is originally from our area previously serving with the Raytown and Lee's Summit police departments. Welcome aboard Chief Lyons!
