Obituary - Brian Ross Logan

Brian Ross Logan, age 31, beloved son, brother and grandson, passed away peacefully and into the loving arms of our Lord on Thursday, March 4, 2021 in Overland Park, KS.

Brian was born in Sioux City, Iowa on September 20, 1989 to Michael W. Logan and Dawn E. Hedges.

Brian was raised in Sioux City, Iowa. Brian moved with his mother, step-father and sister, Jenny, to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where he attended middle school. While in high school, he began his education at Palm Beach State College where he received an Associate’s degree.

Brian will be forever remembered for his kindness, sensitivity and the deep and unconditional love he had for his family and friends. Brian’s dimpled smile, the light in his blue eyes and his easy laughter will be forever missed but never forgotten. Brian has had a difficult life journey but he will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times and his perseverance to try to find his place on Earth. Unfortunately, this time, the pain and sadness were too great for him to go on in this life.

Brian was a gifted photographer and graphic arts designer and had won many awards. He was also a gifted and brilliant data analyst and programmer. Brian loved Colorado, and the mountains, the snow, and the peacefulness he felt there. Brian had the opportunity to travel to Iceland a few years ago and always imagined someday moving there.

Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ralph E. Hedges Jr. and paternal grandmother, Norma A. Logan.

Brain is survived by his mother, Dawn Hedges; step-father, Mark Leinberger; father, Michael Logan; step-mother, (Jean); three sisters, Jenny Logan, Allie Koch (Andrew), Katie Logan; niece, Lucia Morales; maternal grandmother, Jean Hedges; paternal grandfather, Jack Logan; aunt, Connie Hedges Crook (Steve); uncle, Ralph (aka Skip) E. Hedges III; uncle, Jim Logan; aunt, Linda Logan Spears (Ray), as well as step grandparents, step uncles, step aunts, cousins and step cousins.

Brian’s funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. Following the funeral service, Brian will be laid to rest at the Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri.

Due to COVID-19, face masks are required.
