The annual Show and Tell was held today at Robertson Hall at the Bates county museum and those attending were treated to an interesting cross section of artifacts. A few of the items were a painted plate that survived many years as a family heirloom, some items gathered from around the world that included a hefty knife made from a leaf spring, and a century old McCalls magazine that paid homage to Butler, Mo.
There’s a lot more coming to the museum including a chance to win a very special rifle and the display of a quilt in honor of the Missouri Bicentennial celebration; more info to be published soon.
