He worked as a lineman for Osage Valley Electric for thirty-five years. In 2008, he retired and moved to Warsaw. Steve was involved in the Warsaw Heritage Days and his efforts were recognized this year in the dedication of the Hanson Homestead. He loved to tell jokes and collect arrowheads and was a history enthusiast.
He is survived by two sons; Scott Hanson, of Victoria, Texas and Travis Hanson and his wife Kiya, of Magnolia, Texas, a brother, Nels Hanson, of Adrian, Missouri, three grandchildren; Ty Hanson and his wife Helen, Kit Hanson and Kaisen Hanson, all of Magnolia, Texas and two nephews; Brad Hanson, of Branson, Missouri and Glen Hanson, of Phoenix, Arizona.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri.
