New Principal named at Harrisonville High School

Congratulations to Mr. Mark Rorvig who has been named the new principal at Harrisonville High School!

He will take over as principal immediately. He has served as the assistant principal for seven years and taught Personal Finance at HHS for eight years prior to that.

Mr. Rorvig earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration from William Jewell College and his teacher certification from the University of Central Missouri.

He has a Master’s degree in Secondary Administration from the University of Central Missouri and is currently pursuing his Doctoral degree in School Administration from UMKC.

Mr. Rorvig is married to Meggan, an HHS alum, and they have two children, Emma and Grady. Mr. Rorvig replaces Mr. Mark Wiegers who left the district to serve as principal at Center High School.
