Charges filed in Barton County

August 3, 2021:

The Barton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Jessica Irene Parker, Toya Barber and Charles M. Parker following an investigation by the Lamar Police Department, of allegations of abuse and neglect involving an 8 year old child.

Jessica Parker, 39 years old, of Lamar, Missouri, is charged with 2 counts of abuse of a child and 1 count of child endangerment.

Toya Barber, 36 years old, of Lamar, Missouri, is charged with 2 counts of abuse of a child and 1 count of child endangerment.

Charles M. Parker, 44 years old of Lamar, Missouri, is charged with 2 counts of abuse of a child and 1 count of child endangerment.
