Dutch Bros. Coffee Enters the Missouri Market with Belton Location Company marks another national brand making Belton its first-in-Missouri choice August 16, 2021 –

BELTON, Mo. – Today the Belton Planning Commission approved a final development plan for Dutch Bros. Coffee. The Grants Pass, Oregon based company is the largest, privately held drivethru coffee chain in the U.S. “Belton’s ground up location will be our first store not only in the KC metro, but in the state of Missouri,” said Edin Coralic, with St. Louis-based Coralic Architecture and Dutch Bros.’ project lead. “We cannot wait to be part of this community.”

The Dutch Bros.’ $1.2 million drive-thru will open at 1733 East North Avenue, near the southwest corner of I-49 and 58 highways. The 950-sq.-ft. location will have a two-lane drive thru and a walk-up window. The new construction calls for the demolition of the long-vacant former Sheridan’s Frozen Custard building.

Bear Construction Services of Overland Park, Kansas, is the general contractor. Dutch Bros. offers a variety of both hot and cold beverages including coffees; Dutch Freeze, a blended espresso; Dutch Frost, the company’s take on a classic shake; and Dutch Soda, a flavor-infused sparkling water; as well as a variety of chai, energy drinks, teas, smoothies, lemonades, pastries, and granola bars. Dutch Bros.’ claim to fame is that it is a fun-loving company that makes a massive difference one cup at a time, saying it strives to make a social impact in the communities it serves.
