Alice Rosetta Black Base Schmidt Koehn was born August 21, 1937 to William Jasper Black and Ida Almeta (Hackworth) Black in Merced, California. She peacefully passed away in her home on the afternoon of August 11, 2021, just ten days short of her 84th birthday.
Left with precious memories are her husband, Archie; children: Steve and Kelly Base of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; Almeta and Orlando Goossen of Rich Hill, Missouri; Loren and Teresa Base of Rich Hill, Missouri; eight stepchildren; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Wilma and Larry Ramage, Rich Hill, Missouri; and many other friends and relatives. Gone before are two husbands, one son, her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
