Charles Eldon “Charlie” Black, age 50 of Rich Hill, Missouri died Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler, Missouri. He was born January 13, 1971 to Charles Eugene “Gene” and Betty Lou Alkire Black in Butler.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Christy Black of Rich Hill, Missouri; one daughter, Emily Black of the home; his mother, Betty Black of Hermitage, Missouri; one sister, Jeanie West and husband Mike of Rich Hill, Missouri; mother-in law, Rose Turpen of LaCygne, Kansas, two brothers-in-law, Robert Turpen of LaCygne, Kansas and Dennis Heckadon of Hermitage, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Black; one sister, Anita Heckadon; and father-in-law, LeRoy Turpen.
