She was born on December 10, 1952 to Robert and Jacqueline Coleman. In 1971 Peggy welcomed a son, Scott Scharrer. A few years later she met her husband James and they married in 1982. In 1986 they had a baby boy Chase Grube and 3 years after that they had a daughter named Kayla. Peggy enjoyed spending time making memories with her children outside. She was her kids biggest supporter in whatever they chose to do in life and would do anything in the world for them. Peggy loved to garden and plant flowers around the house. When she was not working outside she was inside sewing and working on crafts. She enjoyed making blankets, clothes, and jewelry, she had a very creative mind.
Years later Peggy became a grandmother to Haley Scharrer in 1996 and Thea Grube in 2018. Peggy loved her granddaughters; she was very proud of them. Peggy took care of Thea a couple days a week since she was born and they had a bond like no other. She and granny did everything together from working outside to cooking in the kitchen.
Peggy was preceded in death by her father Robert Coleman and her sister Karen Cunningham.
Peggy is survived by her mother Jackie Coleman: husband James Grube: son Scott Scharrer and his wife Tanya and daughter Haley: son Chase Grube and his wife Mackenzie and their daughter Thea: daughter Kayla Grube.
The family will receive family and friends from 11am-1pm on September 1, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home in Raymore, Burial will follow at the Raymore cemetery.
The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to Mayo clinic for pancreatic Cancer research.
