Rosa graduated from Bronaugh High School Class of 1950. She worked at Key Work Clothes in Nevada for a time, and was a switchboard operator at Nevada State Hospital for over 21 years. Rosa was a member of the First Christian Church in Nevada. She lived in Bronaugh all of her life.
Survivors include first cousins, Bill (Ellen) Hair, Buckner, MO, Linda Smith, Marvin (Shari) Ensor; numerous second cousins, Diane Headrick, Ft. Scott, KS, Judy Headrick, Hume, MO, Donna Downing, Mound City, KS, Jeanette Weber, Apache Junction, AZ, Mary Ann Schmidt, Hamilton, MO, Walter Headrick (Becky), Richards, MO; close friends Jackie Rider, and Terry Loudermilk.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Worsley Cemetery in Bronaugh with Pastor Bill Platt officiating. Friends may call from now and until 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
