The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2005 Chrysler driven by 41 year old Doctore J. Paton of Independence, Missouri traveled off the roadway and struck a telephone junction box and two trees before coming to rest.
Mr. Paton sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Life Flight to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by J's Southland Tow of Raymore.
