Lona Mae Vogt, age 81 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Medicalodge of Butler. She was born February 25, 1940 to George Macy and Lorene Mae Stallcup Mendenhall in Rich Hill, Missouri.
Lona is survived by a son, Dr. Douglas Vogt and wife Kathy of Columbia, Missouri; a daughter, Linda Smith and husband Scott of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Dr. Kaitlin Schiavo (Christopher), Morgan Vogt, Kelli Ann Vogt, Christopher Chapman, Joshua Chapman, Alex Smith and Seth Smith; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, James William Mendenhall; and husband, Edward Eugene Vogt on February 9, 2018.
