He loved to restore vehicles, and woodworking as well as cooking, gardening and canning, fishing, camping and music. The greatest joy of his life was joking around and spending time with his children, and family.
Bill is survived by his wife Desireé; five children, Blake Hibbs and fiancée Lacie Rissman, Neosho, MO, Liza Jane Hayes, MaKayla Morris, Braden Morris and Kayli Clevenger, all of Nevada, MO; four grandchildren, Emalynn Hibbs, Gracelynn Hibbs, Fancee Hibbs, and Sophia Hibbs; three brothers, Rick (Theresa) Hayes, Freeman, MO, Clayton Hayes, and David (Jamie) Harreld, Nevada, MO; four sisters, Sharon Wolfe, Atlanta, GA, Alice (Ben) Cook, Nevada, MO, Debbi (Dirk) Scotten, Nevada, MO and Betty “Bebo” (Terry) Harp, Kansas, OK; as well as several nieces and nephews and a lifelong friend, Willie Hunt.
Preceding Bill in death were his parents, a brother, Mark Hayes, and a sister, Susan Geertsen.
The funeral for Bill will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Ferry Funeral Home with burial to follow in Moore Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 10:00 until service time, Tuesday at the funeral home.
