Obituary - Delbert Leon Agee

Delbert Leon Agee, Sr., 77, Nevada, MO passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO. Delbert was born January 7, 1944 in Oregon, MO to Levi E. and Ella Dorothy (Parker) Agee. He was united in marriage to Gail Ann Chalker on March 10, 1963 and to this union two children were born. He later married Carolyn Pruitt on December 12, 2009 in Nevada, MO and she survives of the home.

In addition to his wife Carolyn, he is survived by his children, LuAnn Anderson, Nevada, MO, and Delbert Agee, Jr. (Joyce), Bronaugh, MO; three step-children, Margaret Norris, Shelly Norris, and Charles Norris (Chris); four grandchildren, Bobbie Baxter (Danny), Nevada, MO, Jerry Wheeler (Harley), Webb City, MO, Jason Agee (Tiffany), Nevada, MO, and Debra Hildebrandt (Hank), Pittsburg, KS; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Agee, Nevada, MO and Leonard Joe Agee (Shariell) Nevada, MO, two sisters, Lela Major (Charles), St. Louis, MO, and Lahoma Dickinson, Nevada, MO; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Johnny Agee of Denver, CO, and Larry Agee of Lee’s Summit, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Ken Buell officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
