Obituary - Carol Reed

Carol Reed of Butler Missouri passed peacefully January 1, 2022 at the age of 91. She was born in Wichita, Kansas during a blizzard January 14, 1930. Carol has always enjoyed music, playing cello and percussion in orchestra during her high school years. She was very proud of being a CAP Cadet during WWII. A woman who loved to travel, Table Rock Lake, the ocean and anything chocolate. Her working career was administrative secretarial for a public utility.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Earl Van Waters Sr., Ruth Evans and step father Cecil Evans. Also preceding her were a brother Earl, sister Vivian and her beloved son J. “Chris” Miller plus husbands Ed Burns, Glenn Miller and Eddie Reed.

Surviving her are daughters and spouses, Charlene (Bob) Neidert of Florida and Edythe (Randy) Finkle of Butler. Also surviving Carol are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will miss her.

A private family Celebration of Life for Carol will be held at a future date.
