Obituary - Phyllis M. Hazell

Phyllis M. Hazell, 82, of Clinton, Mo., passed away early Sunday morning, December 26, 2021 at the Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 19, 1939 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Gene and May Couch.

Following high school Phyllis raised four children, Anita, Russell, Kelly and Radon while married to Charles Ray Plumlee. He preceded her in death. In 1982 she married Wolf Hazell. They were married for 34 years up to his passing in 2016. Phyllis owned and operated her own beauty salon and later owned State Beauty Supply with Wolf for 30 plus years. Survivors include two children, Kelly Plumlee and Russell Plumlee; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children; two sisters and one brother. Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton.
