The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2018 Jeep Compass driven by 81 year old Donald L. Dryden of Urich, Missouri was traveling north on Chandler Road and failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the eastbound 2004 Ford E350 Van driven by 41 year old James T. Mallinson of Kansas City, Kansas.
Mr. Dryden was pronounced dead at the scene of this accident and he was transported to Frontier Forensics. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by J's Southland Tow.
This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 1st Fatality accident of the year 2022.
