Amoret woman injured in Bates County Crash

On February 22nd around 3:35p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri 52 Highway just east of CR 11002 in rural Bates County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2011 Chevrolet Aveo driven by 79 year old Charlene E. Lewis of Amoret, Missouri ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence.

Charlene E. Lewis sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
