IT’S OFFICIAL The Butler Chamber of Commerce has named Karen Rayborn as Executive Director following the retirement of Barbara Lawrence. While Lawrence will be helping with the transition in coming weeks, Rayborn brings many years experience in public relations and service, and says she’s “Looking forward to serving the citizens and businesses alike in Butler”. She is a long time resident of the area and most already know her through her civic affiliations with the Carpenter’s Cup and other Butler area organizations.
The Chamber urges everyone to stop by the office at 17 N. Main and meet Karen Tuesdays through Thursdays, 9 am to noon; she can also be reached at 660-464-1339. She certainly will step up to the challenge starting soon- the Chamber has a full schedule set for this year. Congratulations, Karen!
