The Clinton School District is proud to announce it has selected Kristy Bateman as the District Nurse. Mrs. Bateman is bringing many years of experience to the Clinton School District.

Kristy began her nursing career in Women’s and Children’s Services at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. She has also served as a Pediatric Triage Nurse at Tinker Air Force Base, and most recently for the Oklahoma State Department of Health as a nurse manager for the Children First Program in Norman, OK.

Kristy began her undergraduate nursing courses at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK and then completed her nursing degree at Oklahoma City Community College in Oklahoma City, OK. She has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years.

Kristy is originally from Norman, OK, and has lived in Clinton since 2013. Kristy and her husband, Gustin, have three daughters, Kady, Kylie, and Taylor. In her free time, Kristy enjoys reading, going to Disney World, and hanging out with her dogs Baker and Reese. She is also an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan.

Assistant Superintendent, Brian Wishard says, “I am excited to have Mrs. Kristy Bateman as the next District Nurse for the Clinton School District. Kristy will do an outstanding job leading the Health Services Department in a positive and compassionate way.”

Kristy will begin her work with the Clinton School District this week. “I have been serving as a substitute nurse in the district for the past few months and have grown to love the staff and children of Clinton Schools. Everyone has been so supportive, encouraging, and positive!

I am looking forward to continuing to build relationships within the district and to carry on the tradition of great care provided by the nurses of Clinton Schools. I will make it my goal to positively impact the lives and health of all the children in the district.”
