Morgan Patrick named new principal of Henry Elementary School

The Clinton School District is proud to announce it has selected Morgan Patrick as the principal of Henry Elementary School beginning with the 2022-2023 school year.

Mrs. Patrick has been an educator for 18 years. She spent her first sixteen years in kindergarten-3rd grade classrooms (including three years at Clinton Intermediate School), and has spent the last two years as an administrator, where she currently serves as the Chilhowee School District Principal. Morgan’s strong leadership skills were recognized last spring when she was named the Central Region Assistant Principal of the Year by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals.

Morgan began her education at Central Missouri State University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She also holds a Master’s degree and Specialist degree in Elementary and Secondary Administration, both from William Woods University. Mrs. Patrick is currently working on her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Morgan’s family includes her husband, Justin, and children Atley (12) and Adler (. In their free time, they enjoy working on their family farm, showing cattle, and watching their children play sports.
Assistant Superintendent, Brian Wishard says, “I am excited to have Mrs. Morgan Patrick as the next principal at Henry Elementary. Mrs. Patrick has the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, faculty and staff. She has a strong background in elementary education and will lead Henry Elementary in their efforts towards continued success.”

Morgan is looking forward to beginning her work with the Clinton School District on July 1st. "I am excited to be back to the Clinton Cardinal family, it feels like home! I am thrilled to join the Henry Elementary School family as the lead learner. Together, we are going to make a difference in all of our students’ lives. It will be rewarding to see our students grow as learners, and know that we are empowering future leaders for our Clinton community. It’s a great day to be a Clinton Cardinal!”
