Nevada man injured in Jasper County Crash

On February 18th around 10:45 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Jasper County along with Jasper County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Gum Road around 3 miles east of Carterville, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Ford F-150 driven by 23 year old James L. Thomas of Nevada, Missouri ran off the roadway on a curve and struck several objects in a yard.

Mr. Thomas sustained moderate injuries and he was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
