Marilou “TuTu” Hart 90, of Grandview, Missouri passed away February 10, 2022 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Harrisonville, Missouri. Private family graveside services will be held in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, Missouri.

Marilou “TuTu” Dazey Hart was born October 5, 1931 in New Castle, Indiana to Paul and Mildred Glaescher. She grew up in Indiana and graduated from Mount Summit Schools. Following graduation Marilou moved to California and went to work for the FBI as a clerk. During her time there, she met and fell in love with Richard Hart. They were married on November 21, 1956. To this union three children were born. In late 1960 they moved to Missouri. Marilou became a full time mother, and devoted her spare time to various organizations in the area, Camp Fire Girls, Missouri Town, Shawnee Indian Mission, and the Grandview Assistance Program just to name a few. She was a proud member of the All Saints Episcopal Church and was very active in the children’s ministry.

Marilou had a passion for volunteer work and caring for those less fortunate, but her true love in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marilou was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dick Hart, and a brother Stan Dazey. She is survived by her children, Deidre Benson Parks (John), David Hart (Shawn), and Dimity Mohart (Steve), and Jack Benson. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Jedadiah, Brandi, Jakob, Bailee, Gabriella, Amber, Katie, Raechel, and Sam, along with 18 precious great-grandchildren. We take comfort in knowing that Marilou is once again united with her husband Dick, who she dearly missed since his passing in 2002.
