14 year old Butler male injured after ATV accident in St. Clair County

On March 27th around 2:00 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Clair County along with St. Clair County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a ATV accident on CR NW 801 around 5 miles east of Appleton City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Artic Cat ATV driven by a 14 year old male juvenile from Butler lost control sliding on gravel, overturned and ejected the rider.

The juvenile male sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for treatment.
