Fatality accident in Cass County

On March 15th around 10:45 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Prospect Avenue just north of E 241st Street in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2013 Dodge driven by 40 year old Michelle L. Borst of Kansas City, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a bridge and went airborne before overturning and coming to rest on its top in a creek.

Michelle L. Borst was pronounced dead at Belton Regional Hospital and 12:31 a.m. this morning. 

A passenger in the vehicle 25 year old Brandy A. Parrish of Norman, Indiana sustained serious injuries and she was transported by ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.
