He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Bendix as a machinist before retirement. He was a member of the Machinist Union.
Lewis was well know for his fishing expertise. He was often seen at the Miami County State Lake sitting on his bucket fishing for crappie. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gladys Aiken. Lewis is survived by three sons, Mark Lee(Katherine), Randy Lee, and Rickey Lee(Sandy), a daughter, Debbie May(J.R.), twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel. Burial in East Mt. Zion Cemetery.
